Brake Repair

Oil Change & Lube Services
We recommend an oil change and maintenance check every 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first. A full-service oil change from Sun Valley Tire & Auto Service includes up to 5 quarts of Oil, a new oil filter, and vehicle lubrication of chassis components according to manufacturer’s specifications. Some vehicles do not require chassis lubrication.
Tire Rotation
Tire rotation or rotating tires is the practice of moving automobile wheels and tires from one position on the car, to another, to ensure even tire wear. Tire wear is uneven for any number of reasons. Even tire wear is desirable to maintain consistent performance in the vehicle.
Alignment Services
Keeping your vehicle on the straight and narrow is a top concern of our auto technicians. We offer a wide selection of steering and alignment services to best fit your needs. All alignment services include

Your vehicle’s suspension system helps provide a comfortable and safe ride – ensuring your wheels stay in contact with the road. If your ride’s gotten bumpy, it’s time to have your suspension system checked out by the expert technicians. Signs of bad shocks or struts or worn springs include a bouncy or uncomfortable ride, bottoming out, the front end of the vehicle diving or loss of control while making a sudden stop, the vehicle swerving more than normal while changing lanes, and a vehicle that sags in the front or the rear. Coolant System Inspection, Repair and Flushes
Did you know that overheating is the most common cause of mechanical breakdowns on the road? And that overheating can cause severe damage to the engine and the transmission? Maintaining your vehicle’s radiator, fluids and cooling system is essential to keeping you and your old friend on the road. Coolant (anti-freeze) protects your engine from overheating and from freezing. The coolant’s effectiveness can diminish over time and lose many of its protective properties—even causing your radiator to rust and corrode. The cooling system itself can get clogged with built-up deposits from oil, grease, scale, hose decomposition, and other materials.
Most drivers know it’s recommended that a vehicle’s oil should be changed about every 3,000 miles. Drivers typically don’t realize, however, about the proper intervals for changing their vehicle’s other vital fluids. For the cooling system, the coolant/antifreeze manufacturers recommend changing the coolant once a year, and some service manuals stipulate flushing and refilling the radiator every 24 months, regardless of mileage. Check your car’s owner manual to see the recommended interval for changing the coolant in your vehicle, but you’ll want to get it changed at minimum every 24 months or if you have any of the following symptoms:
- Your vehicle has recently overheated
- Your coolant or temperature light comes on
- Your temperature gauge reads higher or lower than normal
- Your heater does not work
